Health Services Analyst
Brief Definition of the Position
As described in this document, the health services analyst is in charge of helping in the development of health related reports and tools.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze existing reports, services, and tools, and suggest ways to improve
Help develop metrics and reports based on clinical analysis, diseases, and other epidemiological and health analysis
Help develop our managed care tools
Document all the existing reports, tools, and services for internal and external use
Help design, document and maintain our services and products
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to development team
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Help in looking for ways of satisfying client needs looking for workarounds while a software development is being made
Prepare Ad Hoc reports using SQL language, Analysis Services and other tools to gather the data and Microsoft Excel (or similar) to deliver results
Help clients and internal personnel understand reports and other services and tools

Specific Requirements
Intermediate to robust SQL Language and Database knowledge
Robust knowledge using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
Complete knowledge of the raw data received and available for analysis
Robust knowledge on data gathering and data analysis
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree with a health related mayor.
